This Place Is Hidden Gem If ever want to taste some of the best Italian food this World has to offer. Then come here. You will Never be disappointed...

I love the food they present you here. It is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. It is operated by a family and they really get to know their customers. I don't know where you could possibly find better Italian food. And that includes Italy.

First time trying. Excellent lasagna and salad. Better thank Olive Garden! Nough said. :)

Most authentic Italian food in the valley. Some people have been living in the valley and are not aware of this establishment. You have to try it once, and you will be hooked. Outstanding personal service.

The food is wonderful. I had the shrimp scampi and I recommend it 100%. Although the garlic bread has no garlic, just olive oil.

Whenever we come to Texas to visit family we come to Cortino's. The food is over the top and the service is top notch. Understandable was this restaurant is a favorite with our Texas family. Already looking forward to our next visit there.

Love love love this place! Always consistent with their food! Never have they disappointed! Everything is homemade! The owners wife Anna, also makes all the desserts from scratch. Anyone wanting to try this place will not regret it! If you like Italian food you'll love this place. So break down of the food.. If you like red sauce, you'll love the combination plate, spaghetti and/ or lasagna. If you like white Alfredo sauce you'll like the grilled chicken alfredo or shrimp alfredo. You can substitute what you want in it as well. Bread is always hot and fresh! Salads are fabulous, and they always have different soups of the day. 5 out of 5 stars no doubt!!!

What a wonderful place! Service was great and food was awesome too! I had an amazing potato and leek soup and their lasagna was soooo cheesy! It's amazing how good service and good food can help your mood. I'd had a bad day and came here for dinner for the first time and had such a wonderful experience that it totally uplifted me! Highly recommend

The food was good. The service was quick. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was like the neighborhood restaurant some regular customers. If you're nearby you should give it a try.

The food is outstanding I'm the best I feel in the valley. I love that it's her family restaurant and all the meals are made from scratch and the staff very professional and treat you like one of the family.

Not really impressed. I'm giving it 3 stars because my other friends raved about how good it was and about bringing dates in the future. I got to try both marinara and alfredo sauces. Marinara was better. Alfredo needed salt and seasoning. What did have to go was the carpet. I don't even want to imagine what has been spilled on that. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and walked out feeling dirtier than when I walked in. Maybe mom and pops loved what they did at one point, but ik wondering of their heart is still there. I'd give I another chance but mostly because I honestly maybe just had a bad dish.

Amazing Italian food and excellent service.

Eating here was a pleasant suprise; I only discovered this place due to a co-worker's recommendation. I had the Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo...it was awesome...it was packed with so much flavor...the grilled chicken drippings and alfredo sauce was a great combination. I also had the Tiramisu for dessert; it is huge! I couldn't finish it...but it did hit the spot. They have a limited selection of items to choose from, but what they do have to serve, they do it right. The Grilled Salmon with angel hair pasta (your choice of marinara or butter sauce) was very much enjoyed by my family members, as well. You can't go wrong by stopping by here!

The best Italian restaurant in the RGV! Everything is homemade and delicious! Small, quaint and unassuming building and decor but decadent dishes and deserts! The long lines out the door don't lie!

It's a family owned restaurant with fresh, delicious Italian food. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is great. I've been here three times and the experience is always excellent!

The workers are so friendly. One of the servers always remembers what we order even if it's been a month or more since we've been there. Highly recommend the lasagna. It's amazing!!!

The Lasagna with the mushroom sauce is excellent as well as the friendly staff. Watch out for the margarine on the bread. They have butter if you ask for it which is much healthier

Very good tasty Italian food. Served nice and hot temperature. I had the combination plate. The place was clean and staff were very friendly. My only issue was that it took 1.5hrs to get our food probably because they were understaffed for the crowd they had at 5pm on a Thursday.

Delicious selection of home made classic Italian food. Everything is delicious and made fresh. The waitstaff is courteous and friendly, and the tiramisu is to die for!!

This is the second time we have eaten here. I have been all over the world including Italy, this is the best Italian food I've ever had. The wife and I had one order of shrimp fettuccine side order of mushroom the best Caesar salad and piece of carrot cake big enough to feed 4 people homemade and unreal. If you want excellent Italian this is the place to go you won't be sorry

Long wait was worth it. Quaint and low key, but the chicken parmagini (sp) and angel hair pasta with marinara sauce was the best!

In business since the 1960s, this family run Italian restaurant has fresh, delicious food and friendly staff. The only negative is that, after eating here, you will realize how sub-standard the national chain Italian restaurants are.

The chicken Alfredo fettuccine with peas and mushrooms thoooo 🤤👍🏽👍🏽 I’ve never been wronged at this location, miss them being open. their dining room makes it an authentic Italian restaurant, music, customer service, etc. One of the best local restaurants in Weslaco for Authentic Italian.
